ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

THE ITALIAN COUNTRY & WESTERN DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Italian Country & Western Dance Championship is a WCDF international qualifying event for the WorldCDF World Championships.

The registrations for the Italian Championship close at midnight on October 31, 2025.

The competitor list will be online during the following week.

The registration desk will open on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 3 p.m., for the delivery of the competition numbers, passes and other possible useful information.

A deposit of €1.00 will be required at registration, which will be refunded when the competition number is returned.

The competition will start on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. (schedule changes may happen depending on the number of competitors and, therefore, the number of preliminaries, if any).

The event schedule will be online approximately 10 days before the start of the competition and will be available at the registration desk.

The awards ceremony for the Aicowed Country Cup, the Kids Challenge and some categories of the international event is scheduled, in principle, for Saturday, November 15, 2025 and for the remaining categories on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Dancers are requested to wear a competition outfit or appropriate attire for the awards ceremony.

Results and judges’ scores will be published on https://www1.worldcdf.com/.

As of 2022, the WorldCDF use “Open Judging” across all its events.

This means that dancers will receive their detailed placements with the judges names by email after the event.

The dancers competing with more than 15 dances will only pay 15 dances, the exceeding ones will be free.

All payments must be made in advance by bank transfer.

Delayed payments (after October 31, 2025) or at the event the same day of registration will incur a surcharge of € 20.00 without exception.

Only dancers and spectators from non-eu countries will have to pay upon their arrival, at the registration desk.

It is mandatory to present at the registration desk, on the day of the competition, a medical certificate or self-certification of good health and the privacy form for adults or minors you can download from the sidebar.
